Event day details
Below is some information we hope you find helpful for getting here, getting around and exploring the building and surrounding community during your visit to the Curtis.
Getting around the Curtis
For Investor Day we recommend entering The Curtis from 7th St. or Walnut St. if you require a ramp. The event space is on the mezzanine level, accessible from the main atrium stairs or the Blue Elevators on the east side of the building. (Click the image above to view it enlarged.)
Food and Drink
Boxed lunches will be provided for the event itself, but if you are coming to Philly early or would like to have lunch or dinner on your own, there are plenty of options within a few blocks; from boutique coffee shops, Michelin & James Beard winning restaurants, and quick bites. See the Google map for some of our favorites.
Area Hotels
If you require lodging while here for Investor Day, please see this Google Map of hotels in the general vicinity that we recommend. (Link will open a new window. Clicking the image will take you to the website for the Curtis.)
Getting to the Curtis
We are conveniently located in Center City at 6th and Walnut Sts., just two blocks from the 5th St. stop on SEPTA's Market Frankford line, 1000 feet from the foot of the Ben Franklin Bridge and along several bus routes. Links to trip planners are below:
Historic attractions
While visiting the Curtis you will be in one of the most historic and safest neighborhoods in Philadelphia. You don't have to go more than a block to see Washington Sqaure Park, Independence Mall, the Liberty Bell, the Constitution Center, the Jewish History Museum and so much more. Check out Visit Philadelphia for a list of attractions in the area.
Parking
There are limited valet-only parking spaces available within the Curtis, but if you arrive too late to get a spot there there are several other public parking lots in the immediate vicinity.
PLEASE NOTE: there are various active construction sites nearby and we could be dealing with unusual congestion for this event. Parking lots fill up quickly and early. so please plan your travels accordingly. If possible consider ride share instead of bringing your personal vehicle.
